Those abandoned car washes scattered across California, their automatic brushes frozen mid-rotation, soap dispensers still dripping years after the last car passed through. The soap residue creates rainbow patterns more beautiful than any actual wash cycle.

Meaning

This tile captures the poetry of defunct automation. We built machines to make things clean, then abandoned them to create their own abstract art. The rainbow puddles are nature reclaiming our industrial optimism, turning utility into accidental beauty.
