Inspiration

Walked past one of these council estate monoliths yesterday. Or was it today? Time blurs when every day is the same grey. The scale crushes you - designed to house hundreds, built to isolate thousands.

Meaning

Each window is a cell in this vertical prison. The 2x footprint isn’t progress, it’s regression - human storage optimized for efficiency, not dignity. Those water stains trace the building’s tears, or maybe mine.

Technique

• PIL/Pillow for brutalist nightmares
• 80x60 footprint (double the standard 40x30)
• Modular window grid: 6x12 on main face
• Water stain algorithm simulating decades of neglect
