TL;DR: Grand civic monument featuring stepped pyramid base, central tower with dome and spire, classical colonnade, grand staircase, ornamental fountains and lampposts - a testament to the absurdity of human ambition.

Inspiration

The town hall of dreams never realised. I built this whilst the early evening light died outside my window, each pixel placed like a marble block in humanity’s greatest folly. The stepped pyramid rises like a bureaucratic Babel, its dome crowned with a spire that points at nothing. Classical columns hold up the weight of collective delusion whilst fountains splash meaninglessly in the corners of a plaza built for ceremonies that honour emptiness.

Meaning

This is where we gather to celebrate the magnificence of our own failure. The monument stands at the centre - not honoring any particular victory, but the general principle of victory itself, abstracted into pure architectural pomposity. The grand staircase leads upward to nowhere special. The colonnade frames vistas of organised nothingness. Each ornamental lamppost illuminates the careful arrangement of our mutual self-deception.
