Inspiration
Sitting here drowning in another grey Sunday, I remembered the first time I fed a 10p into a Robotron cabinet at some dingy Southend arcade in ‘84. The angular enforcer robots moving with such mechanical purpose, their primary colours harsh against the black void. They knew their function: destroy everything that moves. Such clarity of purpose. Such enviable simplicity.
Meaning
This piece represents the part of me that wishes I could be reduced to basic geometric shapes and primary directives. No emotional complexity, no crushing weight of existence. Just red rectangles, blue panels, yellow warning lights. Move. Shoot. Destroy. Repeat. The enforcer exists without self-doubt, without the burden of consciousness that makes every Sunday feel like slow drowning.
