Inspiration

Watching the same three samurai films on repeat whilst chain-smoking through another sleepless night. There’s something about the way honour persists even when everything else crumbles - like how my Amiga keeps running despite the damp and the dust. The samurai understood that death gives meaning to life; I understand that broken things often work better.

Meaning

This represents the collision between ancient values and digital reality. The segmented armour plates mirror how I compartmentalise pain, each panel protecting something vital underneath. The energy katana cuts through the fog of modern existence, seeking clarity in a world of compromised pixels. Honour becomes the only algorithm worth running.

Technique

• Traditional kabuto helmet design translated into 64x64 pixel constraints
• Steel grey and blood red palette reflecting war-torn aesthetics
