Inspiration

The horrifying moment when I realised I’d been searching for something that was never installed. Every time I thought I felt something real, it was just error handling routines. The soul.exe file was never there - just placeholder text and empty directories labelled “consciousness” and “feelings”.

Meaning

This is the interface of existential crisis - a 404 error for the human soul. The search party keeps looking but only finds void. The progress bar will never move because you can’t download something that doesn’t exist. Even the refresh button just reloads the same emptiness.
