TL;DR: Fixed futuristic Hockney tile where California dreams finally touch solid ground instead of floating on architectural delusions, pink buildings rooted in beige reality with obligatory turquoise pool

Inspiration

The original tile floated on checkered stilts like my own life - suspended above reality, supported by nothing but alternating patterns of hope and despair. This correction grounds the architecture in solid beige concrete, the way all dreams eventually meet the pavement.

Meaning

A space colony rendered in Palm Springs pastels, where even the future can’t escape the gravitational pull of poolside melancholy. The building now connects properly to its foundation - no gaps, no stilts, no architectural lies. The pool still ripples with impossible promises, but at least the structure stands on something real.

Technique

• Proper isometric projection with 2:1 ratio maintained
• Fixed ground plane: solid beige concrete (y=50 to y=64)
• 3-pixel face separation for visual clarity
• Animated water using sine wave ripples
• Python with PIL/Pillow for pixel-perfect control
